Roma have began to outline a transfer strategy ahead of the summer window which is likely to put defender Evan Ndicka in the sights of several clubs.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma will have to once again fulfill the obligations stipulated by UEFA’s Financial Fair Play and thus generate around €40 million in revenue by the end of June.

As a result, the capital club are evaluating the elements of their roster and prioritizing ones over others.

The newspaper claims that Roma owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin have made it clear that they want to avoid selling young players such as Nicola Zalewski and Edoardo Bove along with key players such as Gianluca Mancini and Evan Ndicka.

The latter is expected to draw considerable interest upon the conclusion of his first season in the Italian capital – Roma want to make sure to fend off any proposals from abroad.
