From America, Manu Koné has dismissed any rumors of an imminent departure from Roma.
“My future is the World Cup, it’s my first major competition. I prefer to stay focused on that and then we’ll see what the future holds,” he said in a press conference ahead of the France-Senegal match.
Transfer expert Matteo Moretto confirmed his situation in a video on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel: “Koné remains a potential exit, but we need a club that steps forward.”
Moretto then took stock of Roma’s outgoing transfer market, declaring: “Roma is looking for a quicker solution for players like Soulé and Dovbyk.” These two are the main candidates for departure.
However, there have been no real offers for either of them yet. Soulé is popular in England, Spain, and Turkey. For the Ukrainian striker, however, a return to Spain is possible, where Villarreal is among the interested clubs.
