Roma continue to work on bringing Georginio Wijnaldum to the Italian capital and gifting Jose Mourinho one last important acquisition before the transfer window closes.
The Giallorossi and PSG have been in discussions over the past month for the Dutchman, however, they still haven’t reached a final agreement.
Sky Sport reports Roma have rejected PSG’s attempts to insert an obligation to buy into the operation, preferring an option to buy.
In addition, the French side have repeatedly altered the conditions of the deal, leading to frustration on Roma’s part.
Wijnaldum is pushing to leave Paris before the end of the summer after enduring a difficult season following his free transfer to the club last summer.
