Roma are not in a hurry to address the futures of head coach Jose Mourinho and General Manager Tiago Pinto.
Both Portuguese members of the club’s management have less than a year left on their current contracts and questions have been raised as to what their long-term plans are.
As reported by il Messaggero, Roma have decided to put all discussions regarding a potential renewal on stand-by.
The capital club, led by President Dan Friedkin, will only address the issue at hand within a confined space, involving only Mourinho, Pinto and their representatives in any negotiations.
However, discussions will only take place if the Friedkin Group are satisfied with the team’s progress throughout the coming weeks. Dan Friedkin wants to assess whether team can remain competitive all the way to the end of the season.
