Roma and Villareal have not made any significant progress in negotiations for Alexander Sorloth.

In Florent Ghisolfi’s list, one of the names at the top remains that of Alexander Sørloth, the Norwegian giant from Villarreal who Daniele De Rossi likes so much.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, there have not been any developments in recent days with regards to the outcome of talks between Roma and Villareal.

Villareal continue asking for 35 million euros – a sum that Roma are not keen on matching anytime soon.

It is clear that the deal cannot be done at those figures, also because the Norwegian is 28 years old and Roma have decided to spend on players who can then create assets, but also value for the future.

If Villarreal then drops the price, perhaps around 22-25 million euros, writes the newspaper, then the negotiation may take off.
