Roma have not yet given Tiago Djalo the green light to move from Juventus.

After Kevin Danso’s shocking failed medical, the Giallorossi shifted their focus to out-of-favor Juve centreback Tiago Djalo, with whom they already had an agreement.

For Djalo, Roma were ready to secure him on loan with a buy option.

However, despite several reports claiming otherwise, Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo suggests that the deal for Djalo is not closed yet.

Roma have chosen to put this deal on stand-by while they look for other defensive options on the market with only a handful of hours left before the transfer deadline at 23.59 CEST.
