Roma are entering a crucial phase of negotiations for the arrival of Artem Dovbyk in the Italian capital.

The Ukrainian striker is the favorite to join Daniele De Rossi’s ranks and replace Romelu Lukaku who departed the club upon the conclusion of his loan from Chelsea.

In recent days, the Giallorossi reached an agreement on personal terms with Dovbyk and his entourage and now have moved on to Girona.

The capital club are preparing a convincing fee package to satisfy the Spanish side’s demands.

According to Corriere della Sera, after initially refusing to go above 30 million euros, Roma are now thinking of submitting a bid of 32-34 million euros in fixed fee plus a series of bonuses meant to close in on Girona’s requested release clause of 40 million.
