Roma raise their offer for Davide Frattesi

Roma insist on signing Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi in the upcoming transfer window.

The Giallorossi’s first offer of €10 million plus €3 million in bonuses was promptly rejected by the Neroverdi, reports La Repubblica.

Roma have now raised their offer to €15 million including bonuses, while Sassuolo continue to ask for €22 million.

The club from Emilia-Romagna is also open to accepting a lesser fee with the inclusion of a counter-part: Sassuolo are reportedly very keen on Roma youngster Cristian Volpato.

The two clubs are set to meet on Thursday to discuss further details of the deal for Davide Frattesi. Roma want to accelerate and finalise the transfer within this week.
