Roma and Gianluca Mancini are bound to continue their time together for many years to come.
The player – one of Jose Mourinho’s most trusted personalities in the locker room – is reportedly close to signing a contract extension, reports Sportitalia.
According to Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari, Roma have reached an agreement for the 25-year-old’s extension that will tie him to the capital club beyond the current expiry date of his contract (June 2024).
The agreement is set to include a salary raise for Mancini – earlier reports suggested that the ex-Atalanta defender will go on to make around €3 million per season.
The actual signing of the extension could take place near the end of the current campaign.
