Roma have reached an agreement for the sale of Matias Vina to Brazilian side Flamengo.
Earlier today, Roma General Manager Tiago Pinto met with representatives of Flamengo in the Italian capital to discuss the final details that would allow Vina – the 26-year-old Uruguayan fullback currently on loan at Sassuolo – to return to South America.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, the meeting yielded positive results: now all that remains to be defined in detail is the general agreement reached today.
Furthermore, the issue linked to Sassuolo remains to be resolved.
In fact, the Neroverdi have requested compensation for having authorized the conclusion of Matias Viña’s loan six months in advance.
The three clubs will work together for a successful conclusion to the deal with the final green light expected to take place within the next few days.
