Roma reach agreement with Sheffield United for Robin Olsen: await player’s OK

After his move to reigning Ligue 1 champions Lille collapsed a month ago, Robin Olsen is close to joining Championship side Sheffield United.

According to Il Messaggero, Roma and Sheffield United have reached an agreement for the Swedish shot-stopper.

Olsen would be replacing Aaron Ramsdale who recently signed with Arsenal. Sheffield consider Olsen a worthy replacement due to his veteran status and his brilliant display in Euro 2020.

The clubs await the goalkeeper’s approval. Once Olsen has given his OK, Roma will be able to add him to the out-going list of players excluded from the club’s plans along with the likes of Pedro and Florenzi.
