Roma are ready to close the deal for West Ham attacker Gianluca Scamacca.
The Italian striker has been Roma’s number one priority and preferred replacement of Tammy Abraham this summer.
However, negotiations with West Ham proved more difficult than initially expected as the English side showed reluctance in approving of a loan deal for the ex-Sassuolo man who joined them only a year ago.
According to calciomercato.com, the capital club are determined to reach a positive conclusion to this saga.
The news portal claims Roma have total agreement with Scamacca and are closing in on an agreement with West Ham as well.
In fact, Roma GM Tiago Pinto will fly to London this week in order to meet with the Hammers and close the deal on the basis of a loan (€4-5 million fee) with option to buy for €22 million at the end of the season.
