Roma have officially shifted their attention to Spanish right-back Marc Pubill of Almeria.
The 21-year-old is reportedly Roma’s new target for the right flank after Aston Villa joined the race for Rennes’ Lorenz Assignon.
As confirmed by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are set to meet with Pubill’s agent later today, all the while the player is busy with the Spanish national team at the Paris Olympics (scoring in yesterday’s 2-1 victory over Uzbekistan).
The newspaper adds that Roma have already prepared an opening bid for Pubill of around 10 million euros.
Pubill isa player who grew up in the Levante, of notable physical size (191 centimeters) and who had a breakout year (with 34 games played, one goal and 4 assists).
