Roma ready to exclude Amadou Diawara for entire season

Roma are desperately trying to find a solution for out-of-favour midfielder Amadou Diawara, who thus far has rejected all incoming proposals from Italy and abroad.

The player’s future is at a stand-still as the capital club continue to push for his permanent exit.

However, Corriere dello Sport reports that the Giallorossi are also prepared to exclude Diawara for the entirety for next season if the player fails to sign with a new team in this transfer window.

The 24-year-old would thus spend a year training individually at Trigoria.

Diawara’s contract with the club is set to expire in 2024 and the Guinean’s considerable salary of €2 million has been an obstacle for several teams interested in him.
