Roma ready to hand Bouah contract renewal

Roma are adopting a new strategy in regards to the youth sector at the club. Morgan De Sanctis confirmed as much yesterday during the presentation of Chris Smalling when asked about the talks for Juve defender Daniele Rugani, which could have potentially included highly rated Roma talents Zan Celar and Alessio Riccardi.

De Sanctis confirmed Roma will not only try to keep hold of their talents, but also “bet” on them more. In response, Il Tempo reports that a meeting has been scheduled in the coming weeks between Roma sporting director Gianluca Petrachi and the agent of Devid Bouah, one of the club’s most prized up-and-coming talents.

The fullback’s current contract is set to expire in 2021 and the aim is to prolong the youngster’s contract with Roma.
