Roma are serious about Mason Greenwood.

The English winger is at the top of Gian Piero Gasperini’s dream list, believing he’s the right player to make the leap in quality.

As soon as the new sporting director, Tony D’Amico, is announced, the Giallorossi will submit an offer to Marseille.

The player’s agent and father was only waiting for Roma to qualify for the Champions League before sitting down at the negotiating table.

The 2001-born player has made it clear he prefers the certainty of a European qualification to the advances of Fenerbahçe, who will have to play the preliminary rounds.

OM is asking €50 million plus bonuses for Greenwood, given that 40% of the contract will go to Manchester United.

Roma is preparing an offer to Marseille for Mason Greenwood.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Giallorossi will submit a €40 million plus bonuses proposal to match the French club’s demands.

The Roman club will guarantee the English winger a €4.5 million salary (€1 million more than currently), and a technical counterpart is not out of the question to secure a deal with Marseille.

Relations with OM are excellent, so Roma hopes to please Gian Piero Gasperini by providing him with a top-class striker.
