Roma are making progress in their pursuit of Empoli midfielder Tommaso Baldanzi who could join the capital club before tomorrow’s transfer deadline.
After holding meetings with Baldanzi’s agent, Roma are now reportedly ready to turn to Empoli and discuss the details of a deal involving the 20-year-old starlet.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma have prepared their official offer which is ready to be submitted to Empoli within the next few hours – the Giallorossi want to propose a paid loan with an obligation to buy without the addition of any technical counterparts.
The club hope to meet Empoli’s demands – the Tuscan side’ s initial evaluation was of around €14-15 million.
However, before proceeding any further, Roma want to give the green light to Marash Kumbulla and Andrea Belotti for their respective outgoing transfers to Sassuolo and Fiorentina.
