Roma are making concrete steps toward lowering their overall spending regime.
The capital club – as revealed in today’s edition of La Repubblica – have began a long-term process of cutting the spending on agent commissions.
According to the newspaper, General Manager Tiago Pinto was able to reduce the costs on agent commissions by €5 million, going from €26 million spent in 2021 to €21 million in 2022.
Nonetheless, Roma are still ranked second in Serie A only behind Juventus when it comes to agent commissions paid. The club will continue its efforts in the years to come to further lower these figures which will boost a more sustainable project.
