Roma are taking their time to consider the near future of Cristian Volpato and Edoardo Bove – both of whom have caught the attention of several Italian clubs and sparked interest ahead of January.
Sassuolo – among others – are particularly interested in the two former Primavera players and reports have claimed that the Giallorossi may consider including them in a deal for Davide Frattesi.
Other clubs such as Salernitana or Lecce have inquired about the possibility of loaning them out until the end of the season.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma General Manager is in talks with Bove’s agent to find a long-term solution for the young midfielder. The idea would be to sell him or loan him out with option to buy and an additional buyback clause.
Volpato, on the other hand, intends to stay in the capital and grow under the leadership of Jose Mourinho. Roma value him as a precious attacking resource given the Giallorossi’s struggles in front of goal.
