Roma are once again being linked with Canadian star striker Jonathan David.

After being linked with him at the end of last season, Roma are now rumored to have reignited their interest in him.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, David is a concrete transfer objective for Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi.

The French executive has asked Lille for information regarding David’s availability.

Lille values David at around 30 million euros, but with the contract expiring on 30 June 2025, the club would be willing to reduce the amount requested for the transfer.

The player himself seems ready for a change of scenery, feeling that the time has come to take a new step in his career.

Roma, however, are not just stopping with David and are also carefully following other profiles for the center forward role.

Among these are the Norwegian Alexander Sorloth, currently at Villarreal, and Youssef En Nesyri of Sevilla.
