Roma reject Everton, Leipzig proposals for Nicolo Zaniolo

Everton and Leipzig are reportedly the latest clubs to inquire about Nicolo Zaniolo and see their offer promptly rejected by Roma.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the two clubs made a formal approach with a loan proposal for the Roma attacker which in both cases included a buy option at the end of the season.

Roma, however, maintain their hard stance on the matter: the Giallorossi want to make Zaniolo’s sale permanent and are willing to keep him in the stands until June at the very least.

The club’s decision to exclude him from team activities does not rule out a severe punishment until the end of Zaniolo’s contract in 2024.
