Roma reject Fiorentina’s offer €7m for Calafiori


Roma youngster Riccardo Calafiori remains one of the most sought after talents in Italy, but Roma have no intention of selling him.

After drawing interest from both PSG and Juventus, Corriere dello Sport reports that Roma recently rejected a €7 million offer from Fiorentina for the 18 year-old, who made his senior debut late last season.

Roma manager Paulo Fonseca is ready ro hand the youngster an important role this upcoming season and does not intend of depriving himself of having Calafiori at his disposal.

The club has made it clear to Calafiori that they are strongly counting on him for this season and do not plan on acquiring another left back following the departure of Aleksandar Kolarov.
