Since joining Roma in the summer of 2019 from Fiorentina, midfielder Jordan Veretout has catapulted his way near the top of the the club’s most indispensable players.
The Frenchman has 7 goals and 1 assist to his name this season and has been one of the most consistent performers for the Giallorossi over the past two campaigns under manager Paulo Fonseca.
After having rejected a number of attempts from Napoli and various Premier League sides in the summer, calciomercato.com reports that Roma also recently rejected an approach from Inter for the player.
The Nerazzurri, reportedly, proposed the idea of a loan swap involving Veretout and midfielder Christian Eriksen, who has been put up for sale by Antonio Conte’s side.
Roma, however, have no interest in allowing Veretout to leave and immediately rejected the hypothesis.
