Sky Sport reports that after talks between Roma and the Red Devils stalled over the last 48 hours, the Giallorossi have presented a new offer for the 30 year-old today worth €15 million.
The Premier League side is aware that no one else in England would be able to match this offer and they are now seriously considering accepting this latest proposal from the Italian capital club.
The next few hours will be decisive in understanding whether or not Chris Smalling will return to Roma.
