Hector Herrera was on Roma’s radar when he played for Porto before joining Atletico Madrid.
Now, the Giallorossi appear to be interested once again in the Mexican veteran.
According to Leggo, the Giallorossi’s list of names for the midfield for January with Denis Zakaria and Florian Grillitsch on the top, includes Atletico Madrid’s Hector Herrera.
The Mexican international’s contract with the Colchoneros expires in June 2022 and is reportedly falling out of favor with manager Diego Simeone.
Tiago Pinto is monitoring the situation and may contact Atletico to assess whether a transfer in January would be feasible.
