Roma remain interested in Brozović

Il Tempo journalist Alessandro Austini reports that Roma are interested in bringing Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozović to the capital.

Inter and Brozović can not wait to separate and it’s possible the Giallorossi are ready to bring home to Rome. The relationship between the Croatian and manager Frank de Boer is fractured and the relationship with the club is also compromised. Roma, along with Chinese Premier clubs, will try to bring the player in January. Last summer, former Giallorossi sporting director Sabatini dealt extensively with the agent of Brozović, and also Doyen, who own a part of the player’s rights. Current sporting director Massara has followed the talks step by step and could pick-up where his predecessor left off.

The Nerazzurri have never taken Brozović off the market and expect to reopen an auction in January. It will not be easy for Roma to match respective financial interests of other clubs, but they hope to lure the player and convince Inter with a popular formula: a loan with an obligation to buy, which could please everyone, although, Inter’s valuation of €20 million must be met.
