Roma remain interested in Porto’s Herrera

Roma are interested in Porto midfielder Hector Herrera and want to bring the Mexican international to the Eternal City.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports, though, that the operation will not be easy. Herrera’s contract ends with Porto in June 2019, however, the club are still asking for a substantial fee for the player. Should Monchi and Roma fail to reach an agreement for the player, they will try and lock-up the player on a free transfer for the 2019-2020 campaign. Herrera will not renew with Porto and his future could be in Rome with the Giallorossi.
