Roma advance to their third consecutive European semifinal after beating Milan 3-1 on aggregate in this year’s Europa League quarterfinals.

The Giallorossi are not new this, and have in fact achieved a remarkable milestone as a club.

As reported by Sky Sport, with the victory against Milan, Roma reached the semi-final of a European competition for the fifth time in the last six years – a feat that no other European club has achieved in the same period of time.

For the second year in a row, Roma will face Xabi Alonso’s record-breaking Bayer Leverkusen over two legs on the road to Dublin.
