Roma are monitoring with interest the situation around Spanish fullback Marc Pubill and his collapsed move to Atalanta.

The Spanish fullback, protagonist at the Olympics and winner of the gold medal with his national team, was ready to become a new player for the Dea.

However, according to Sky Sport, the Bergamaschi would have asked for additional medical tests, which was then followed by the decision to veer toward another player.

The figures agreed for the transfer were 15 million euros plus 5 million bonuses and 15% on future resale.

The sports network reports that Atalanta is already moving on the market for a replacement: an agreement for the Brazilian Wesley from Flamengo is close.

In the meantime, Roma, interested in Rennes’ Lorenz Assignon, remains vigilant, having been linked with Pubill up until a few days ago.
