Roma remain vigilant ahead of transfer plans involving Genoa’s Albert Gudmundsson

Roma are still being linked with Genoa star Albert Gudmundsson.

The Icelandic midfielder is one of the highest rated players in Serie A this year and his visible and steady progress for club and country has made him the object of numerous transfer rumors linking him with several top clubs.

According to Italian journalist Matteo Moretto of Relevo, Roma are among the teams to have planned an inquiry and potential discussions in the summer for Gudmundsson.

The Giallorossi had already made contact with Genoa earlier in the year and – along with the likes of Juventus and some Premier League sides – want to assess Gudmundsson’s availability in the upcoming summer window.

Moretto reports that Genoa estimate Gudmundsson’s pricetag at €25-30 million and could also accept technical counterparts in a deal for the 26-year-old.
