Roma have reportedly made contact with Austrian midfielder Marcel Sabitzer.
The capital club have put the ex-Leizpig captain in their sights as the next summer reinforcement.
As reported by Augusto Ciardi for LAROMA24, Roma have reached out to Sabitzer’s entourage and inquired about his availability.
Sabitzer gave a positive response to Roma’s interest, but asked for time to reflect on his own future as the player wants to first see what recently appointed Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel has in store for him.
Tuchel took over the club while Sabitzer was still on loan at Manchester United and it remains unclear whether the German technician wants to keep him beyond this summer.
Thus, Roma await Sabitzer’s decision.
