The Giallorossi are once again linked to Héctor Herrera of Atletico de Madrid. Reports from Spain claim that Roma are still tracking the Mexican midfielder who is nearing free agency.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the reigning La Liga champions have still not made any concrete advances regarding a potential renewal for the 31-year-old.
The player himself has reportedly expressed his willingness in staying in the Spanish capital.
However, once Herrera enters free agency in June, Roma may make a push for him given their long-time interest dating back to the player’s days in Porto.
