The capital club are still at work to find an agreement with Sassuolo for midfielder Davide Frattesi, one of Roma’s priorities for this summer window.
Despite a two-week long stall in negotiations, La Repubblica reports that Roma have resumed talks with Sassuolo and are working to bridge the gap between the Neroverdi’s demands and their offer.
Roma do not intend to wait in vain for a response from Sassuolo, but refuse to quit the pursuit before assessing the situation carefully.
Frattesi, on the other hand, is pushing for the move and insists on becoming a Roma player in the coming weeks.
