Roma have reignited their interest in Austrian midfielder Florian Grillitsch.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the capital club – who had been linked with Grillitsch last year – are in contact with the player’s entourage.
The Italian sports outlet reports that Grillitsch is José Mourinho’s specific request.
Roma GM Tiago Pinto is expected to meet with the midfielder’s agent in the coming hours in Milan.
Grillitsch had been close to joining Fiorentina over the last few weeks, but the Viola failed to find an agreement with the 26-year-old.
The Austrian international has recently entered free agency and wants to play abroad after his experience in the Bundesliga with Hoffenheim.
