RomaPress – After completing the signing of Nemanja Matić, Roma are working to secure deals for Lille right back Zeki Çelik and Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi.
The capital club want to secure transfers for both players in the coming weeks and ensure most of their summer reinforcements are in place before the team begins their preseason.
Roma executive Tiago Pinto is very close to reaching an agreement with Lille for the Turkish international Çelik and he’ll also meet next week with Sassuolo for Frattesi.
The clubs are still working to find an agreement on the total valuation of the players involved in the operation. Roma are prepared to offer cash plus players, including young attacker Felix Afena-Gyan, into the deal.
To date, though, Sassuolo haven’t agreed with Roma’s valuations of the players that could potentially be involved in the transfer.
