Roma are still in pursuit of Federico Chiesa, the capital club’s top target for the summer.

As Italy’s Euro’s campaign came to an abrupt end on Saturday, Roma are hoping to accelerate in their talks with Federico Chiesa.

In fact, Corriere dello Sport reports that Roma director Florent Ghisolfi has scheduled a new meeting with Fali Ramadani, the Juventus player’s agent, to obtain new information about Chiesa’s situation and prepare a first proposal.

The new sporting director is stalling and will probably do so for a few more weeks, waiting to understand if the great opportunity can really materialize.

Now Chiesa’s price tag is rumored to have dropped to 20-25 million euros.

The player in question is said to be intrigued by Roma’s project with De Rossi at the helm and their intense interest in him.

In short, the conditions to make the deal happen are there, now Roma must wait for that opportunity to materialize in order to make the decisive move.
