Roma seem to be closing in on Marcos Leonardo for a January switch.

The Brazilian attacker is reportedly set to join Roma in January after failing to complete a move earlier this summer.

According to calciomercato.com, Roma seem to have secured a total agreement with Santos who in turn have already found Leonardo’s replacement.

The Brazilian side recently welcomed ex-Rangers attacker Alfredo Morelos who is expected to slot in for Leonardo as Santos continue to fight relegation.

Roma will reportedly pay €13 million (including add-ons) for Leonardo whom the club had been tracking for over a year as declared by Giallorossi General Manager Tiago Pinto.
