Roma have secured personal agreement with Turkish fullback Zeki Çelik of Lille and are looking to finalize negotiations with the French side, reports Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport.
The Giallorossi have identified Çelik as the valid back-up option to Rick Karsdorp in order to further strengthen the team’s right flank.
Di Marzio reports that Roma have already secured a personal agreement with the player and are now entering the final phase of negotiations with Lille.
The agreement with the Turkish international was found on the basis of a contract worth €2 million.
Finally, the French club are asking for €9 million, whereas Roma are offering €6 million. The deal could be completed for an estimated fee of €7-7.5 million.
