Roma are intent on extending youngster Cristian Volpato’s stay in the capital for the coming years. The Giallorossi have been in talks to renew Volpato’s contract and are now rumored to have completed the deal.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the talented 18-year-old will pen an extension until 2026.

Jose Mourinho and Roma pushed for the renewal to take place as soon as possible after the player had been the subject of initial negotiations with Sassuolo for Davide Frattesi.

After the deal for Frattesi was put on hold, Roma accelerated talks with Volpato’s entourage to guarantee his stay in the capital.
