Roma set to renew Cristian Volpato’s contract

Roma are working to extend Cristian Volpato’s contract with the club as the youngster continues to impress Roma boss Jose Mourinho who recently gave him another chance to shine in the Europa League with Ludogorets.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Giallorossi are convinced of the young attacker’s potential and want to extend his stay in the capital for many years to come.

The 18-year-old is nearing a desired renewal which should be announced around the same time as Bryan Cristante’s.

Last season Volpato was brought on from the Primavera and made three Serie A appearances scoring one goal.
