Corriere dello Sport have reported that Roma are being very cautious with the recovery program of Patrik Schick.
The Czech attacker played 15 minutes against Verona and seemed to reaggravate the muscle injury in his leg. So the Giallorossi are taking a conservative approach with the youngster: better to allow him to recover now then hurry the player along.
Schick will undergo an MRI in the next few hours so Roma can understand the options. When will we see him on the pitch again? Surely not this week, as Di Francesco clearly explained. It is also unlikely that he can play in Baku, against Qarabag, which is in a week, and in Milan on Sunday, 1st October. In the end, the most likely hypothesis is that Schick is kept in the stands and recovers until the 14th October match against Napoli at the Olimpico. Obviously, though, the results of the MRI will depend on this.
