Roma sprinting for Jese

Il Corriere dello Sport: Juan Iturbe is hours away from saluting Roma and beginning his new adventure in Turin.

With the departure of the Argentine and the soon-to-be activated buying clause of Iago Falque by Torino, Roma sporting director Ricky Massara can now, finally, look to add players.

Massara has lost Iturbe and Salah and is ready to pounce: he is close to embarking on a journey to Paris, where he was already been spotted a few times, to close the deal for OSG attacmer Jesé. The formula looks to be a loan with an option to buy, but it is not easy convincing PSG, who a month ago were willing to sell Jesé but only as part of an exchange for Rüdiger. To those conditions, Roma won’t even begin to talk with PSG.

Jesé has already give his willingness to play in Rome and has made it clear he wants the Giallorossi. Now, the track to Defrel of Sassuolo cools as Roma look to close for the Spaniard.
