Roma still eyeing Napoli’s Hysaj for January

With the poor performances of Alessandro Florenzi, the long-term injury of Davide Zappacosta, and the continued physical struggles of Leonardo Spinazzola – right-back remains the role that Roma sporting director Gianluca Petrachi will look to improve in January. Calciomercato.com reports that Napoli’s Elseid Hysaj remains the main priority for the Giallorossi. The Albanian has made it clear since the summer that he is ready for a new adventure and would like to leave the club.

The defender’s contract expires this summer and would be free to find an agreement with a club of his choice come January. However, it’s possible that the Giallorossi could find an agreement at a cut-rate to bring him to the club immediately.
