Roma still have sights on Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostić and Stuttgart’s Sasa Kalajdzić

Even though Roma’s season ended just one week ago, the Giallorossi are already at work to reinforce the roster.

According to Sky Sport Germany, Jose Mourinho’s side are monitoring Bundesliga pair Filip Kostić of Eintracht Frankfurt along with Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzić.

The Giallorossi initially registered interest in both players last summer and even held talks for the pair, however, neither of the negotiations got off the ground.

The 29 year-old Kostić has drawn interest throughout Europe after yet another strong campaign, tallying 7 goals and 15 assists in all competitions. His future remains a major question mark because his contract with the German side expires next summer.

His situation is similar to that of the towering striker Kalajdzic. The Austrian international is entering the final twelve months of his deal with Stuttgart and the club will have to decide whether or not to sell him in the coming weeks.

The two-meter tall attacker struggled with a shoulder injury this past season that caused him to miss nearly half the season. Nonetheless, he still managed 6 goals and 2 assist in 15 appearances.
