Roma are keeping a close eye on Monza centreback Pablo Mari.

The Giallorossi are rumored to be seeking additional defensive reinforcements ahead of the summer and could aim for a low-cost option with experience in Serie A.

As a result, Roma are being once again linked with Pablo Mari of Monza after the two parties had reportedly been in contact in January, prior to Roma’s decision to sign Dean Huijsen on loan instead.

The Spanish centreback is reportedly a profile the capital club appreciate very much, claims Calciomercato.com.

Mari had already asked to be sold in January and Monza are now likely to satisfy his demands as the defender will push to join a top club in Italy.

Napoli are also said to be in the race.
