Roma still pursuing Chelsea’s Pedro

Football remains paused but clubs continue to plan for the future.

Corriere dello Sport has reported today that Roma are interested in acquiring soon-to-be free agent Chelsea attacker Pedro. The winger has already informed the Blues that he will not be renewing his contract, which expires on 30 June.

The former Barcelona man has already received an offer from Al-Sadd, the Qatari based that is currently managed by Xavi, and is expected to receive more proposals.

At the request of manager Paulo Fonseca, the Giallorossi, reportedly, made an attempt for the 32 year-old in January but are now ready to offer the winger a three-year contract worth 3 million per season.

Roma are now waiting to see if their offer will suffice.
