Roma struggling to find solutions for Gonzalo Villar

Gonzalo Villar’s future is at a standstill as the player fails to official draw offers from Italy or abroad despite renowned interest from several European clubs.

After being excluded by Roma from preseason training, the player and his entourage are busy looking for a new team.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are encountering difficulties in the search for an adequate solution for the 24-year-old midfielder.

Villar is now being monitored by Spanish and Turkish clubs, with the added interest of Sampdoria, Bologna and Monza in Serie A. However, the Italian newspaper reports that so far no team has expressed interest in fulfilling Roma’s demands for the player.

The capital club want to secure a permanent exit for Villar, and are asking for a fee of €6-7 million.
