RomaPress – Matías Soulé pushing for transfer to the Italian capital as Roma intensifies efforts to secure the attacking midfielder.

Earlier today, RomaPress reported that Soulé’s agent, Martin Guastadisegno, was set to meet with Juventus officials on Wednesday. This followed successful negotiations with Roma on personal terms and agent commissions the previous evening.

Soulé, who prefers to stay in Italy, has prioritised a move to Roma over a potential transfer to Leicester City. Guastadisegno is urging both clubs to finalise an agreement soon, as the 21 year-old seeks clarity on his future before the weekend.

Significant progress was made during tonight’s discussions with Juventus. Multiple sources confirmed to RomaPress that Roma made their first official bid for Soulé, offering a total transfer fee of €25 million, including bonuses. This proposal closely matches an earlier bid from the Foxes earlier in the week.

Juventus has yet to officially respond but is expected to counter with a demand for a base amount of €25 million plus an additional €3-€5 million in bonuses.

Despite this, the gap between Roma’s offer and Juventus’ asking price has narrowed, leaving both sides optimistic that an agreement can be reached in the coming days.
