Roma target Davide Frattesi looks to move away from Sassuolo this summer after being at the center of numerous transfer rumours.

In a recent press conference during Italy’s training camp ahead of Nations League fixtures, Frattesi spoke about wanting to join a new team this summer.

“It will be an important summer, important decisions will have to be made,” said the young midfielder.

“If I’m being linked with so many clubs it means I must be doing something right. I need to continue working hard and the rest will be taken care of by my agent and [Sassuolo director Giovanni] Carnevali.”

“Premier League? I strongly believe in doing things step by step. So, first I would need to take an internal leap to another club in Serie A before thinking about playing abroad.”
