Roma target Ismael Kone is rumored to be on his way to Ligue 1 where Roberto De Zerbi supposedly is awaiting him.

The Canadian midfielder was recently linked as a potential reinforcement for Daniele De Rossi’s squad.

However, the 22-year-old is now on the verge of joining Marseille from Watford.

According to Fabrizio Romano, in fact, Ismael Kone has decided to move to France over the last few hours.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, therefore, Kone will leave Watford and will be a new player for the team coached by Roberto De Zerbi who strongly requested him.

The Canadian midfielder was one of the names on Ghisolfi’s notebook to strengthen De Rossi’s midfield.
